New Fun Places to Peruse

Hello friends!  Happy Happy Friday.  Boy that was a long week wasn’t it?  I suppose it could have felt that way since it Chicago went through all four seasons over the past 3 days… 20 degrees to 50 and rain, back to snow today.  Sheesh.  It’s a good time to stay home and create.

So, welcome to the first installment of Five on Friday!  Other than five things…. on a Friday…. there will be no other rules here.  Hee hee.

This week I’m sharing five new to me websites/blogs that I hope you’ll enjoy too.  Informative, eye candy, and just plain fun!   Ready?  Here we go:

1.   Craft Critique – A great site for crafty product reviews.  Check out the Rock-A-Block stamp mounting system… I’m not a big stamper, but may need one of those!

2.  Jars of Cute - So much cuteness here I can’t stand it.  These lovely ladies find some of the most adorable items on the web and Etsy and make sure we know about them.  I am in love with these decorative birds!

3.  Crafting a Green World – Wonderful entries on how to be a ‘greener’ crafter.  Something I so need to focus on.  And excuse me… but how awesome is this burlap bulletin board?!

4. Blogher – The place for women who blog.  I have just started delving into the wonderful community and information there and find it so intriguing.  In fact, I’ll even be attending their Chicago conference this July to learn more.  So excited about that!

5.  Twitter- yes… Twitter.  Old news for so many, but I am just discovering it.  I can’t even fully describe all the crazy fun info which you will suddenly have at your finger tips.  And it’s how I discovered #’s 1-3 above.  Please don’t blame me once you become addicted… tweets man… the new drug.  (And psssst… if you follow me I’ll follow you )
