Coming to a theatre near you… or rather my house.
Yep, we had another pipe burst, resulting in yet another indoor waterfall. Those of you that have been with me for awhile (thank you first of all), might remember when Flood #1 happened last January. This one wasn’t nearly as bad – not nearly, and happened in the back of the house. We are without parts of ceiling and walls again – but you know what?
We still feel so blessed.
I almost feel better that it happened just one more time, because this HAS to be it. I was home so caught it early (though had my Ipod on and was jammin while scrapping in another part of the house so didn’t hear it right away – damn you catchy Beyonce lyrics!), and since we had to open the wall anyway, now that shower that never had good water pressure can get looked at properly. I get to shut off an entire portion of my house for the next few weeks – which means less to clean, the big screen TV is temporarily in our kitchen – so I suppose if I wanted to I could pretty much turn it on and pretend Paula Deen was right there cooking along with me… that’d be fun, and the only other place to hang out right now is in my scrap room… which means I get to scrap AND hang with Alan, which is lovely.
Nah – I felt sorry for myself for a good few hours, and now I refuse to anymore. There is so much else that could be, has been, worse. And others that are dealing with things that bad.
So… sorry for not many posts this past week. I do have a couple new layouts to share and will post them soon, I hope you are having a wonderful pre-holiday weekend and getting lots done. Thanks for stopping by today, and do again soon.
