It’s National Sewing Month

And I felt obligated to tell you.

Did you know that I was actually waiting to finally sew those curtains for my living room until this month?  In order to celebrate this most festive of sewing times?

Yep, no one else believed me either.

Procrastination – meet in your face sign from the heavens to get the darn things done already.

How is your week going?  I had a lovely visit with my mom and aunt yesterday which included many girly things such as hair-do’s and manicures.  I also bought some lotion which was more expensive than most shoes I own, and I don’t know why… it made me feel pretty and smells really nice.  But it’s going back to the store this weekend.  Instant buyer’s remorse (but it felt good to own it for about 5 minutes).

P.S. my birthday is Saturday, and I will officially be over the “I’m just 30″ into the “I’m IN my 30′s”… I have not yet decided how I feel about this, except that I do know I am still not old enough to truly appreciate and use $56.00 lotion.  Hopefully I never will be.

Actually if I ever am – please whack me upside the head and tell me to go to the drug-store.

Hello… that was a random post today.  It could be the oom-pah German band that’s outside my office window for Oktoberfest… it’s a little distracting.

Hope you are having a great week, we’re planning something really fun  at AC Bailey this weekend – I hope you can come by and play! :) Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
