Sending you smoke signals from the land of dial-up

I’m sorry I haven’t blogged anything new recently!  Of all the wonderfulness of being home – we no longer have wi-fi… and that my friends seriously bites.  Good news is though we will have it this weekend!  We considered it a luxury for so long that we never got it at home.  Funny how some things go from luxuries to necessities in such a short time:

  • A good internet connection
  • Ti-Vo (Wait what did he say?  Rewind that!  I can’t I can’t!)
  • Cell phones – my battery died yesterday and I felt like I’d been banished to a desert island
  • Latte’s from Starbucks on Monday mornings (and Friday treats, and Tuesdays just because…)

And yet somehow I think that without all these “conveniences” my life might actually be less complicated.  I’d suddenly have more time to do other things with, the clock wouldn’t reach midnight so fast, and I’d have a little more change in my pocket.

But all the same I need me that wi-fi.

I am working on lots and lots and will post asap.  Thanks for stopping by today and come back soon.

  • No wi-fi here, but I don’t own a laptop so it wouldn’t do me any good. ;) But I would go crazy w/o my DSL and DVR. :D Hope you’re back up to full internet speed soon!
