Hi! I’m Jess, a mid-western girl born and raised now living in the big city. Married for 8 years to my wonderful husband, “mom and dad” to our two cats and pound puppy. I love all things crafty, arty, theatery, and chocolately.
Formerly an actress turned regular day-jobber, I started to search for a creative outlet through which I could still express myself. I was always a writer, and sometimes a crafter, but the two never really connected until I discovered the amazing online community of scrapbookers. One thing led to another, and I began this blog in October 2007 with the hopes of having an online journal give me the little oomph I would need from time to time to get my creative mojo flowing. I had no idea it would grow to become such a huge part of who I am! Because I’m never quite convinced my works in progress or life is necessarily entertaining enough (hee) I’m always searching for inspiration, techniques, and just good fun stuff to post too.
It means the world to me to be able to share ideas and make new friends through such a meaningful hobby, and each comment from you is completely treasured. I really mean it when I say “Thanks for stopping by!”.
